 1        AN ACT with respect to higher education.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Southern Illinois University Management
 5    Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

 6        (110 ILCS 520/1) (from Ch. 144, par. 651)
 7        Sec. 1.  Creation of Board.  There is  hereby  created  a
 8    body politic and corporate which shall be styled the Board of
 9    Trustees  of Southern Illinois University to operate, manage,
10    control and maintain the University, hereinafter  called  the
11    Board.
