 1        AN ACT respecting higher education.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Northern  Illinois  University  Law  is
 5    amended by changing Section 30-10 as follows:

 6        (110 ILCS 685/30-10)
 7        Sec.  30-10.  Creation of Board.  There is hereby created
 8    a body politic and corporate which shall be styled the  Board
 9    of  Trustees  of  Northern  Illinois  University (hereinafter
10    called the Board), and which shall operate, manage,  control,
11    and  maintain Northern Illinois University in accordance with
12    the rights, powers and duties now or hereafter vested by  law
13    in that Board.
