 1        AN ACT concerning environmental protection.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Environmental Protection Act is amended
 5    by changing Section 30 as follows:

 6        (415 ILCS 5/30) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1030)
 7        Sec.  30.  Investigations.   The   Agency   shall   cause
 8    investigations  to  be  made upon the request of the Board or
 9    upon receipt of information concerning an  alleged  violation
10    of  this  Act  or of any rule or regulation promulgated under
11    this Act thereunder, or of any permit granted by  the  Agency
12    or any term or condition of any such permit, and may cause to
13    be made such other investigations as it shall deem advisable.
