 1        AN ACT in relation to firearms.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Firearm Owners Identification Card Act is
 5    amended by adding Section 3.3 as follows:

 6        (430 ILCS 65/3.3 new)
 7        Sec.  3.3.  Report  to  the local law enforcement agency.
 8    The Department of State  Police  must  report  the  name  and
 9    address of a person to the local law enforcement agency where
10    the  person  resides  if  the person attempting to purchase a
11    firearm is disqualified from purchasing a firearm because  of
12    information obtained under Section 3.1.
