 1        AN ACT in relation to gaming.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Horse  Racing  Act  of  1975  is
 5    amended by changing Section 15.1 as follows:

 6        (230 ILCS 5/15.1) (from Ch. 8, par. 37-15.1)
 7        Sec.  15.1.  Deposits of fees. Upon collection of the fee
 8    accompanying the application for an occupation  license,  the
 9    Board shall be authorized to make daily temporary deposits of
10    the  fees,  for  a  period  not  to  exceed  7 days, with the
11    horsemen's bookkeeper at  a  race  meeting.   The  horsemen's
12    bookkeeper  shall  issue a check, payable to the order of the
13    Illinois Racing Board, for moneys monies deposited under this
14    Section within 24 hours of  receipt  of  the  moneys  monies.
15    Provided  however,  upon  the  issuance  of  the check by the
16    horsemen's bookkeeper the check shall  be  deposited  in  the
17    State  Treasury  in  accordance  with  the  provisions of the
18    "State  Officers  and  Employees  Money   Disposition   Act",
19    approved June 9, 1911, as amended.
