SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $5,000,000 from the Build Illinois Fund to the Department of Transportation for designing, planning, and the construction costs of a new community center at the Chicago Executive Airport, including an airplane mechanic and pilot training institute and operations center. Effective July 1, 2025.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Fund to the Department of Transportation for designing, planning, and the construction costs of a new community center at the Chicago Executive Airport, including an airplane mechanic and pilot training institute and operations center.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2025.
