| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of James C. Hardin of East Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on September 8, 2024; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, James Hardin was born in Moline to Wesley and | 6 | | Credola (Rasmussen) Hardin on October 16, 1961; he married | 7 | | Lisa Beck in Rock Island on June 1, 2016; and | 8 | | WHEREAS, James Hardin spent 28 years serving his country | 9 | | in the U.S. Army; and | 10 | | WHEREAS, James Hardin was an avid MOPAR fan and car | 11 | | collector; he also enjoyed sports and golfing; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, James Hardin was preceded in death by his | 13 | | parents; his sisters, Elizabeth Webber and Debra Hecker; and | 14 | | his brothers, Mike Hardin and John Taylor; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, James Hardin is survived his wife, Lisa; his | 16 | | daughter, Ashleigh Beverly; his grandson, Ashton Fox; his | 17 | | sister, Catherine Toland; his brother, Daniel Hardin; and | 18 | | numerous nieces, nephews, and other family; therefore, be it | 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL |
