| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of William | | 4 | | James Martys of Antioch, who passed away on April 12, 2023; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, William Martys was born to Theodore and Mildred | | 6 | | Martys in Chicago on July 25, 1963; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, William Martys was a pupil of Kung Fu for most of | | 8 | | his life; and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, Above all, William Martys loved his family and | | 10 | | friends; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, William Martys was preceded in death by his | | 12 | | parents; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, William Martys is survived by his children, | | 14 | | Jacquelyn, Aleczander, Anthony, and Aiden; his grandchild, | | 15 | | Molly Martys; his siblings, Kathi (Matthew) Deresinski, | | 16 | | Michael (Gail) Martys, and Sandra Gaylord; his niece and | | 17 | | nephew, Julia (Kenny) Wieda and Ryan Gaylord; and many other | | 18 | | family members and friends; therefore, be it
