SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
20 ILCS 2310/2310-730 new

    Amends the Department of Public Health Power and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that, subject to appropriation, the Department of Public Health shall create a 3-year pilot program for Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center to provide a mobile clinic for prenatal and postnatal health care. Provides that Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center shall be reimbursed for its participation in the pilot program at an annual rate of no less than $700,000 for fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning health.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
5Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6amended by adding Section 2310-730 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 2310/2310-730 new)
8    Sec. 2310-730. Mobile prenatal and postnatal health clinic
9pilot program. Subject to appropriation, the Department shall
10create a 3-year pilot program for Advocate Illinois Masonic
11Medical Center to provide a mobile clinic for prenatal and
12postnatal health care. Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical
13Center shall be reimbursed for its participation in the pilot
14program at an annual rate of no less than $700,000 for fiscal
15years 2025, 2026, and 2027.
 
16    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17becoming law.
