SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Brian R. Miller of Moline, who passed away on April 21, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Brian Miller was born to Richard and Marianne (Antoniou) Miller in Moline on September 4, 1961; he served in the U.S. Army; and

WHEREAS, Brian Miller worked as a truck driver for various companies; and

WHEREAS, Brian Miller enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Chicago Bears and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Brian Miller was preceded in death by his mother and his stepmother, Mary Ann; and

WHEREAS, Brian Miller is survived by his father; his son, Layne Johnson; his sisters, Rebecca Hall and Elizabeth Powell; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Brian R. Miller and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Brian Miller as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
