1     AN ACT concerning education.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
5 adding Section 180 as follows:

6     (110 ILCS 305/180 new)
7     Sec. 180. Enrollment reporting.
8     (a) The Board of Trustees shall report to the Board of
9 Higher Education by the 15th business day after the start of
10 the academic year all of the following student enrollment
11 data:
12         (1) The number of students enrolled at the start of
13     the previous academic year.
14         (2) The number of students enrolled full time at the
15     start of the previous academic year.
16         (3) The number of students enrolled at the start of
17     the current academic year.
18         (4) The number of students enrolled full time at the
19     start of the current academic year.
20         (5) The number of students enrolled in online learning
21     at the start of the previous academic year.
22         (6) The number of students enrolled in in-person
23     learning at the start of the previous academic year.

1         (7) The number of students enrolled in online learning
2     at the start of the current academic year.
3         (8) The number of students enrolled in in-person
4     learning at the start of the current academic year.
5         (9) The rolling average number of students enrolled

7     (b) The Board of Higher Education shall post the student
8 enrollment data reported under subsection (a) on its Internet
9 website.

10     Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management
11 Act is amended by adding Section 155 as follows:

12     (110 ILCS 520/155 new)
13     Sec. 155. Enrollment reporting.
14     (a) The Board shall report to the Board of Higher
15 Education by the 15th business day after the start of the
16 academic year all of the following student enrollment data:
17         (1) The number of students enrolled at the start of
18     the previous academic year.
19         (2) The number of students enrolled full time at the
20     start of the previous academic year.
21         (3) The number of students enrolled at the start of
22     the current academic year.
23         (4) The number of students enrolled full time at the
24     start of the current academic year.

1         (5) The number of students enrolled in online learning
2     at the start of the previous academic year.
3         (6) The number of students enrolled in in-person
4     learning at the start of the previous academic year.

7         (8) The number of students enrolled in in-person
8     learning at the start of the current academic year.
9         (9) The rolling average number of students enrolled
10     over the previous 5 academic years.
11     (b) The Board of Higher Education shall post the student
12 enrollment data reported under subsection (a) on its Internet
13 website.

14     Section 15. The Chicago State University Law is amended by
15 adding Section 5-265 as follows:

16     (110 ILCS 660/5-265 new)
17     Sec. 5-265. Enrollment reporting.
18     (a) The Board shall report to the Board of Higher
19 Education by the 15th business day after the start of the
20 academic year all of the following student enrollment data:
21         (1) The number of students enrolled at the start of
22     the previous academic year.
23         (2) The number of students enrolled full time at the
24     start of the previous academic year.

18     Section 20. The Eastern Illinois University Law is amended
19 by adding Section 10-270 as follows:

21     Sec. 10-270. Enrollment reporting.
22     (a) The Board shall report to the Board of Higher
23 Education by the 15th business day after the start of the
24 academic year all of the following student enrollment data:

2     the previous academic year.
3         (2) The number of students enrolled full time at the

9         (5) The number of students enrolled in online learning

22     Section 25. The Governors State University Law is amended
23 by adding Section 15-265 as follows:

14 academic year all of the following student enrollment data:

19         (3) The number of students enrolled at the start of
20     the current academic year.
21         (4) The number of students enrolled full time at the

16     (a) The Board shall report to the Board of Higher
17 Education by the 15th business day after the start of the
18 academic year all of the following student enrollment data:
19         (1) The number of students enrolled at the start of
20     the previous academic year.
21         (2) The number of students enrolled full time at the
22     start of the previous academic year.
23         (3) The number of students enrolled at the start of
24     the current academic year.

16     Section 50. The Public Community College Act is amended by
17 adding Section 3-29.26 as follows:

18     (110 ILCS 805/3-29.26 new)
19     Sec. 3-29.26. Enrollment reporting.
20     (a) Annually, on or before October 1, each board shall
21 report to the State Board all of the following student
22 enrollment data:
23         (1) The number of students enrolled at the start of
24     the previous academic year.

2     start of the previous academic year.
3         (3) The number of students enrolled at the start of
4     the current academic year.

9         (6) The number of students enrolled in in-person
10     learning at the start of the previous academic year.

17     (b) The State Board shall post the student enrollment data
18 reported under subsection (a) on its Internet website.
