SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

25 ILCS 10/7 new
    Amends the General Assembly Operations Act. Provides that the House of Representatives and its committees and the Senate and its committees shall transact business only during the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

1     AN ACT concerning State government.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The General Assembly Operations Act is amended
5 by adding Section 7 as follows:

6     (25 ILCS 10/7 new)
7     Sec. 7. Business hours. The House of Representatives and
8 its committees and the Senate and its committees shall
9 transact business only during the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
