SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael Earl Rabjohns, who passed away on March 19, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Michael Rabjohns was born to Ronald and Camilla Rabjohns in Madison, Wisconsin on December 24, 1987; as a child, he was full of energy, irrepressible, outgoing, and friendly; he loved to skateboard all over town, then enjoyed snowboarding, and later in life when he lived in Seattle, he rode his electric one wheel everywhere; and

WHEREAS, Michael Rabjohns trained at Aveda Hair Salons and was a talented and successful barber, working in Chicago, Southern California, and Seattle; and

WHEREAS, Michael Rabjohns was a smart, strong, courageous, compassionate, and kind man, who made friends wherever he lived; he brightened the lives of many, including those of his family; and

WHEREAS, Michael Rabjohns is survived by his parents, Ronald and Camilla Rabjohns; his brother, Nicholas Charles Rabjohns; his niece, Ella Rabjohns; his sister, Kelly Walsh (Adam) Romines; and his nephews, George and Walter Romines; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Michael Earl Rabjohns and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Rabjohns as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
