SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert J. Kuchler, U.S. Air Force veteran, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 83; and

WHEREAS, Robert Kuchler was the beloved husband of 60 years of Joy Kuchler; the loving father of Robbie (Marty) O'Shea, Mark (Deann) Kuchler, Karen (Jim) Bassing, and Colleen (Chris) Sullivan; the cherished "Grampy" of Amanda and Chris O'Shea, Maggie, Kevin, Kelly, and Abby Kuchler, Allison and Brendan Bassing, and Caitlin, Tim, Brian, Patrick, and Caroline Sullivan; the dear great-grandfather of Liam; the dearest brother of Mary Ann (the late Russ) Schuster, David Kuchler, Gerry Kuchler, and Kathy (Doc) Neubauer; the brother-in-law of Leroy (Kay) Hansen and Bob (Carol) Hansen; and the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert J. Kuchler and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Kuchler as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
