SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert E. Buller of Silvis, who passed away on December 16, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Robert Buller was born to Jessie and Myrtle Dunbar Buller in Rock Island on December 3, 1928; he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict; he married Marjorie Burklund in Rock Island on February 2, 1952, and she preceded him in death on April 13, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Robert Buller worked as a plant manager at East Moline Metal Products; and

WHEREAS, Robert Buller enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing at his cabin in Wisconsin, and attending garage sales, auctions, and flea markets; and

WHEREAS, Robert Buller was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his infant son, Mark Buller; his daughter; JoAnn Oliver; five brothers; and three sisters; and

WHEREAS, Robert Buller is survived by his children, Sandra Dodds, Robert (Vickey) Buller, Tim Buller, and Mike Buller; his grandchildren, Stevie, Dawn, David, Becky, and Jamie; his eight great-grandchildren; his several great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Bill Buller; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert E. Buller and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Buller as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
