SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Robert E. Buller of Silvis, who passed
4away on December 16, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Buller was born to Jessie and Myrtle
6Dunbar Buller in Rock Island on December 3, 1928; he served in
7the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict; he married Marjorie
8Burklund in Rock Island on February 2, 1952, and she preceded
9him in death on April 13, 2012; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Buller worked as a plant manager at East
11Moline Metal Products; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Buller enjoyed spending time with his
13family, fishing at his cabin in Wisconsin, and attending
14garage sales, auctions, and flea markets; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Buller was preceded in death by his
16parents; his wife; his infant son, Mark Buller; his daughter;
17JoAnn Oliver; five brothers; and three sisters; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Buller is survived by his children, Sandra
19Dodds, Robert (Vickey) Buller, Tim Buller, and Mike Buller;
20his grandchildren, Stevie, Dawn, David, Becky, and Jamie; his

1eight great-grandchildren; his several
2great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Bill Buller;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Robert E. Buller and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Robert Buller as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
