SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William "Bill" L. Warren of East Moline, who passed away on December 13, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Bill Warren was born to Clifford and Lura (Fuller) Warren in Moline on March 9, 1937; he served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division; he married Nancy L. Keagle in Davenport on April 4, 1959; and

WHEREAS, Bill Warren retired from the MidAmerican Energy Company; and

WHEREAS, Bill Warren was an avid Cubs fan and a dog lover; he had a very inquisitive mind, and most of all, he loved his family; and

WHEREAS, Bill Warren was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jim Cunningham and his sister, Marilyn Jean; and

WHEREAS, Bill Warren is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Shawn Warren, Wendy Cunningham, Heather Warren, and Darcy (Brad) Brittenham; his nine grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary (Gary) Miller; his brother, Joe (Rose) Warren; and his special friend, Joe; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William "Bill" L. Warren and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bill Warren as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
