SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Trevor Norris Faullin, who passed away suddenly on August 25, 2021 at the age of 26; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Faullin greeted each day joyfully in anticipation of an adventure, meeting someone new, or experiencing a good laugh; although deserving a much better physical life, he never felt sorry for himself and brought great joy into the lives of those around him; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Faullin was a proud graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School; he loved Cubs baseball, Illini sports, and especially WWE wrestling; he had the day of his life when he met WWE star John Cena through the Make-A-Wish Foundation; he loved to laugh and enjoyed sharing jokes and lighthearted pranks with his family and friends; he had an extraordinary spirit, and his smile lit up every room he entered; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Faullin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jo, and his grandfather, Bob Faullin; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Faullin is survived by his parents, Cynthia and Mike (Gretchen Pein); his younger brothers, Trenton and Trey; his stepsiblings, Max and Lily; his uncles, Paul (Colleen), Peter (Alberto), Dan (Sharon), Corwin (Cheryl), and John; his aunt, Penny; his beloved Nanny and Papa Robins, who were especially dear to him; and his numerous cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Trevor Norris Faullin and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Trevor Faullin as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
