SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jenna L. Rudd, who passed away on October 23, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd was born to Sherri Dixon–Rudd and Charles Lee Rudd in Alton on September 12, 2000; she ran track and field for and graduated from Roxana High School in 2019; she attended Greenville University on an athletic scholarship prior to transferring back to Lewis and Clark Community College; and

WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd was employed at the Edwardsville Care Center in the Activities Department; and

WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd enjoyed art, drawing, sports, and spending time with her friends; and

WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd was preceded in death by father and her brother, Charles "Chuckie" Rudd; and

WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd is survived by her mother; her siblings, Joshua Rudd, Bryan (Torzetta) Rudd, Brett Rudd, Terry Rudd, and Toni Rudd; her grandmother, Barbara Dixon; her aunts and uncles; her nieces and nephews; her cousins, and her many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jenna L. Rudd and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jenna Rudd as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
