| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Randy Hellmann of Carlyle, who passed | 4 | | away on March 13, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann was born to Beverly Hellmann and | 6 | | Daniel Brassel in Breese on November 5, 1962; he married Lisa | 7 | | Vogel in Bartelso on May 10, 1986; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann retired from the Illinois | 9 | | Department of Corrections after 32 years of service; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Currently, Randy Hellmann served as the staff | 11 | | representative for AFSCME Council 31; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann loved being outdoors with his | 13 | | family; he was also a talented taxidermist who loved sharing | 14 | | his trophies with family and friends; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann was preceded in death by his son, | 16 | | Matthew Hellmann; his father; his father-in-law, James Vogel; | 17 | | his grandmother, Vernell Hellmann; and his uncle, Gordon | 18 | | Hellmann; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann is survived by his wife; his son, |

| 1 | | Michael Hellmann; his grandson, Joshua Hellmann; his mother; | 2 | | his two brothers, Kirk (Vicki) Holtmann and Nathan (Amy) | 3 | | Holtmann; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Vogel; his | 4 | | brother-in-law, Jeff (Geralyn) Vogel; and his aunts and | 5 | | uncles, Garry and Anne Hellmann, Leroy and Carolyn Hellmann, | 6 | | and Sandy Hellmann; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Randy Hellmann and extend our sincere condolences to his | 10 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 11 | | further
