SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wesley "Wes" Wayne Peebler of Moline, who passed away on January 15, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Wes Peebler was born to Claude and Clara Sydnor Peebler in Rock Island on September 24, 1941; he graduated from Rock Island High School; he was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966; he married Mary Schoonover in Silvis in September of 1967; and

WHEREAS, Wes Peebler was employed by the State of Illinois, first at the State Hospital and later for the Department of Transportation from which he retired; and

WHEREAS, Wes Peebler enjoyed camping with his wife; and

WHEREAS, Wes Peebler was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Marsha Staddler and Cloyde Peebler; and

WHEREAS, Wes Peebler is survived by his wife, Mary; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Wesley "Wes" Wayne Peebler and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wes Peebler as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
