SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

430 ILCS 68/5-120

Amends the Firearm Dealer License Certification Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning federal agencies and investigations.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning safety.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Firearm Dealer License Certification Act is amended by changing Section 5-120 as follows:

(430 ILCS 68/5-120)

Sec. 5-120. Federal agencies and investigations. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to interfere with any federal agency or any federal agency investigation. All Department rules adopted under this Act shall comply with federal law. The The Department may as necessary coordinate efforts with relevant State and federal law enforcement agencies to enforce this Act.
