HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Michael A. Savage on the occasion of achieving the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Michael Savage is a member of Scouts BSA Troop 399 of the Trailblazer District of the Pathway to Adventure Council; he joined Scouts during kindergarten in elementary school and rose through the ranks with great enthusiasm to reach the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, When deciding on his Eagle Scout project and seeking to help homeless pets, Michael Savage chose to build play equipment for the dogs awaiting adoption at the Almost Home Foundation in Schaumburg; he also raised $100, which he donated to the foundation as well; and

WHEREAS, After Michael Savage completed his Eagle Scout project and Eagle Scout Board Review and committee members submitted their recommendation to Scouts BSA of the Boy Scouts of America in Texas, the rank of Eagle Scout was bestowed upon him at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor in June of 2021; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Michael A. Savage on the occasion of achieving the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Michael Savage as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
