SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas "Tom" Allan Bowman of Colona, who passed away on January 31, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Tom Bowman as born to William and Alice (DaPron) Bowman in Mason City on April 12, 1940; he served in the U.S. Navy; he married Nancy Lievens in Hannibal, Missouri on March 27, 1966; and

WHEREAS, Tom Bowman retired from the former International Harvester Works, East Moline; and

WHEREAS, Tom Bowman was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Harris and Patricia Brown; and his brother-in-law, Duane Kraklow; and

WHEREAS, Tom Bowman is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Janna Churchill, Colette (Jeff) Breault, James (Lisa) Bowman, Greg (Kim) Bowman, Doug (Kelli) Bowman, and Misty (John) Dowdal; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty Kraklow; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas "Tom" Allan Bowman and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tom Bowman as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
