SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marvin F. Bundy Sr. of Milan, who passed away on November 14, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy was born to Floyd and Stora (Green) Bundy in La Harpe on April 19, 1938; he served in the U.S. Army; he married Teresa Melchi in Rock Island on December 14, 1974; and

WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy worked for Quad City Die Casting for 30 years, retiring in 2001; and

WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing; and

WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Terry Bundy and Marvin Bundy II; his granddaughter, Jessica Housby; and his siblings, Victor Bundy, Merle Bundy, and Carma Hulting; and

WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy is survived by his wife, Teresa; his grandchildren, Amber Bundy, Matt Bundy, and Alicia Clark; his great-grandchildren, Sean, Aiden, Savannah, and Dominic; his brother, Patrick Bundy; and his brother-in-law, Roy Hulting; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marvin F. Bundy Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marvin Bundy as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
