SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Irving E. Landry of Silvis, who passed away on November 15, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Irving Landry was born to Norman and Evelyn (Campbell) Landry in Moline on October 25, 1950; he served in the U.S. Army; and

WHEREAS, Irving Landry retired as a welder from John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline; after retiring, he drove for Johannes Bus Service; and

WHEREAS, Irving Landry enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, traveling, and visiting with family; he also enjoyed line dancing and country dancing; and

WHEREAS, Irving Landry was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Irving Landry is survived by his children, Scott (Holly) Landry, Jason Landry, Jessica (Matthew) Bennett, and Jennifer Landry; his 12 grandchildren; his great-grandson; and his siblings, Estella Novak, Janet Broadway, Joseph Landry, and Alicia Damara; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Irving E. Landry and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Irving Landry as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
