SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry Wade Reams of Bethalto, who passed away on November 9, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Larry Reams worked as a machinist for many years; he spent the last 15 years working as a laborer out of Local 338 in Wood River; he loved the brotherhood and sense of pride he found working for the Labor Hall; and

WHEREAS, Larry Reams loved every minute he spent with his family and friends, especially the times spent singing karaoke; he had an amazing voice and a wonderful sense of humor; he will be remembered especially for his smile, which was always present; and

WHEREAS, Larry Reams is survived by his parents, Larry Woodrow Reams and Delilah Mae (Connor) Reams; his daughter, Jessica (Alex) L. Slow; his grandchildren, Nicholas "Nickman" Slow and Jaelyn "Jae Bird" Slow; his two brothers, Terry (Rochelle) D. Reams and Ricky (Leslie) W. Reams; his sister, Cheryl (Jim) L. Fischer; his fiancé, Julie Swarringin; his fiancé's daughter, Carley; and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Larry Wade Reams and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Reams as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
