SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Sandra Taylor of Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on September 17, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Taylor was born in Chicago to Jimmy Taylor and Dorothy Taylor on November 21, 1951; she attended DuSable High School in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Taylor worked tirelessly as a seamstress for Hart, Schaffner, and Marx for nearly 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Taylor relocated to Jackson, Tennessee; she became a member of Faith Deliverance Center and married William H. Reese; she loved caring for her grandchildren and watching them grow and have children of their own; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Taylor was preceded in death by her husband; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Taylor is survived by her family, Jeffrey Taylor and Jeffrey Taylor Jr., Janice Taylor, J'Shawn Taylor, Jamari Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Aaliyah Taylor, Jade Taylor, Samantha Taylor, and Ezekiel Crossley Jr.; Charmtell Denise Taylor and Delia Tymekaya Taylor Jones, Adrain Von Baker, Ronald Wilson Jr., and Jasmia Nicole Taylor; Antoinette Maria Taylor-Dennis and Sir William Antonio Marcus Hugh Dennis and Queen Shania Samone Dennis; and Leslie Nicole Taylor and Alexa Skylar Onaro; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Sandra Taylor and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sandra Taylor as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
