SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dennis L. Hutton of Milan, who passed away on December 8, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton was born in Moline to Clifford and Beulah Kistenmacher Hutton on September 28, 1944; he graduated from Rock Island High School in 1962 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; he married Shari L. Fritz in Rock Island on November 25, 1967; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton worked at I.H. Farmall Works for nine years; he then became a police officer for the Rock Island Police Department for 31 years; following his retirement, he worked as a security guard for Trinity Hospital for 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton was a member of Two Rivers United Methodist Church in Rock Island; he was an avid fan of the Rock Island Rocks and enjoyed hunting and fishing; he loved his family and grand-dogs, Maisy and Change Up; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton is survived by wife, Shari; his sons, Michael (Krista), Patrick (Chrystal), and John Hutton; his grandchildren, Hannah and Jon Hutton and Lena and Celi Perez; his brother, Bruce Hutton; and several nieces, nephews, and additional family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dennis L. Hutton and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dennis Hutton as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
