SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy Ann (Philipps) Nagel, who passed away on September 26, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Nagel was born in Oak Park on December 11, 1950; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Nagel attended Longfellow Grade School and graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1969; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Nagel is survived by her husband of 48 years, David; her son, James (Beth) Nagel; her grandchildren, Olivia and Joe Nagel; her brother, Joseph (Barbara T.) Philipps; her sister, Barbara J. Philipps; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dorothy Ann Nagel and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dorothy Nagel as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
