SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Beverly Dawn Tilley of Gillespie, who passed away on September 23, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Tilley was born in Litchfield to Larry Joe and Cathy Lynn (Best) Tilley on August 21, 1965; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Tilley was a paramedic for the Gillespie Benld Area Ambulance Service, Dunn's, and MedStar; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Tilley helped those in need and was a member of a variety of local groups, which supported the community; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Tilley was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Tilley is survived by her daughters, Erica Tilley and Katie (Erik) Jenkins; her grandchildren, Liam Butler, Ian Edwards, Eleanor Jenkins, and Matilda "Tilley" Jenkins; and her brother, Dean Tilley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Beverly Dawn Tilley and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Beverly Tilley as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
