SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ronald D. Bucshon of Kincaid, who passed
4away on January 6, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Bucshon was born in Kincaid to Frank and
6Gladys E. (Smith) Bucshon on January 31, 1935; he graduated
7from Kincaid High School in 1954; he served in the United
8States Navy at the end of the Korean War; he married Barbara J.
9Burke at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville on
10May 6, 1961; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ronald Bucshon worked at Peabody Mine #10 near
12Pawnee; he retired in 1992 after 37 years of service; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ronald Bucshon was a member of United Mine Workers
14of America Local #9819; he was an accomplished wood worker; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ronald Bucshon was preceded in death by his
16parents and his brothers, Larry and Gerald; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ronald Bucshon is survived by his wife of 57
18years, Barbara; his sons, U.S. Representative Dr. Larry (Dr.
19Kathryn) Bucshon and Douglas (Princess) Bucshon; his six
20grandchildren; his sister, Sherry Bucshon; and his many nieces

1and nephews; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Ronald D. Bucshon and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Ronald Bucshon as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
