1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of James M. Gephart of Moline, who passed
4 away on June 7, 2019; and

5     WHEREAS, James Gephart was born in Michigan on October 12,
6 1931; and

7     WHEREAS, James Gephart was a veteran of the United States
8 Marine Corps; and

9     WHEREAS, James Gephart was a proud father of five children;
10 and

11     WHEREAS, James Gephart was preceded in death by his parents
12 and two siblings; and

13     WHEREAS, James Gephart is survived by his partner, Sandra
14 Rogers; his children, Greg (Kathy) Gephart, Michael
15 (Albertina) Gephart, Douglas (Loni) Gephart, Linda (Carolyn)
16 Gephart, and Dianna (David) Irwin; and his four grandchildren;
17 therefore, be it

18     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1 James M. Gephart and extend our sincere condolences to his
2 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3 further

4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to the family of James Gephart as an expression of
6 our deepest sympathy.
