SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Donald Charles "Don" Cram of Moline, who passed away on May 29, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Don Cram was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Donald and Martha Weber Cram on September 16, 1933; he served in the United States Air Force; he married Joyce Menning in Davenport on October 13, 1954; and

WHEREAS, Don Cram was a supervisor at the Rock Island Arsenal; and

WHEREAS, Don Cram was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Moline; he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Don Cram was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; his daughter-in-law, Patty Cram; his granddaughter-in-law, April Cram; and his brother-in-law, David Dwight; and

WHEREAS, Don Cram is survived by his sons, Michael Cram and Patrick (Deborah) Cram; his grandchildren, Chad Donald (Jodi), Sean (Rhonda), Justin (Jennifer), Danielle Joyce, and Samantha Nani Cram; his stepgrandchildren, William (Barbara) Close, Malisa (Bryan) Adams, and Traci Hendershot; his great-grandchildren, Emma, Dillon, Madison, Logan, Sarah, Havanna, Phoenix, and Nami and Timothy Cram; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kylee and Branden Close, Hope and Brooke Adams, and Tyler Menezes; and his sister, Margie Dwight; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Donald Charles "Don" Cram and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Don Cram as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
