SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jack C. Tindal of Moline, who passed away on May 14, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Jack Tindal was born in Estherville, Iowa to Kedric and Winnie Lingenfelter Tindal on October 8, 1931; he married Marie (DeRammelaere) Depoorter in Moline on March 10, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Jack Tindal worked with his father for 12 years at Tindal Auto Sales before becoming owner for an additional 30 years; he and his wife Marie owned and operated Tindal License and Title for many years; and

WHEREAS, Jack Tindal enjoyed attending the Sunday races and sponsored many race cars over the years; he was a member of the East End Bolder's Club and enjoyed watching NASCAR; and

WHEREAS, Jack Tindal was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents; his son, Jack Tindal; his son-in-law, Ron Williams; and his sister, Betty DeClerck; and

WHEREAS, Jack Tindal is survived by his children, Josephine "Jo" Williams and Joe (Jackie) Depoorter; his grandchildren, Wendy (Chris) Vastine, Nicole (Jeremy) Bruns, Ryan (Kasie) Depoorter, Renee (Nick) Killham, Jahnon (Brad) Kreisler, and Aubry Tindal; and his great-grandchildren, Allison, Thomas, Kylie, Sophie, Sawyer, Addison, Luke, Rece, Reagan, and Evie; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jack C. Tindal and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jack Tindal as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
