SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Ephraim Axelrod, who passed away on October 30, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Axelrod was born on October 18, 1932; he graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1959; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Axelrod specialized in anatomic and clinical pathology; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Axelrod was the beloved husband of Deloris (Stafford), the cherished father of Melissa "Missy" (Terry) Zwigoff, Susannah (William "Bill" Gillispie), and Meredith, and the loving grandfather of Jacob and Ruby; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dr. Ephraim Axelrod and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dr. Axelrod as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
