SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Nicholas Concepcion Jarmon, who passed away on March 4, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon was born in Chicago to Fannie Mae Hayes and Wilbert Jarmon Sr. on August 25, 1974; he attended Ada S. McKinley School, where he earned his high school diploma; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon worked at the Ada S. McKinley/Aztlan Adult Training Center; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon was affectionately known as "Nick," "Nicky," or Uncle Nick"; he committed to his faith at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and was a dedicated member of the congregation; he enjoyed being a member of the Handicap-able Ministry; he loved sports, especially bowling, where he won many trophies; he participated in many Special Olympics; he enjoyed watching YouTube videos, dancing to Michael Jackson songs, and celebrating birthdays; he left an indelible impression on almost everyone he met; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kawana Yvonne Jarmon; and his brothers, Ted Deymein Rae and Wendell Carl; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon is survived by his brothers, Wilbert Jr., Kamaron (Winifred), Erick, Kelion, and Ettaniye; his sisters, Suncie Rae and Norma; his great-aunt, Roseanne Fox; his aunts, Omita Jarmon, Ann Jarmon, and Alverster Johnson; and his many other family members, nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Nicholas Concepcion Jarmon and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Nicholas Jarmon as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
