SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Maria Louisa (Vazquez) Homan of O'Fallon, who passed away on February 6, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Maria Homan was born in Seville, Spain on November 29, 1931; she moved to O'Fallon with her husband, Anthony, who was former military; and

WHEREAS, Maria Homan was a skilled nurse and caregiver; and

WHEREAS, Maria Homan was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; and her son, Danny; and

WHEREAS, Maria Homan is survived by her sister-in-law, Beth Tillotson; and her dear friends, Michael and Mary McCurley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Maria Louisa (Vazquez) Homan and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Maria Homan as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
