SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Madeline M. Springer of Hillsboro, who
4passed away on January 5, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Madeline Springer was born in Nokomis to James and
6Maddalena (Davito) Parola on February 18, 1917; she graduated
7from Hillsboro High School in 1935 and married Carl H. Springer
8in 1946; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Madeline Springer served as a retail sales clerk
10at Sears for over 40 years; she was also an Avon
11representative; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Madeline Springer was a member of St. Agnes
13Catholic Church in Hillsboro; she was devoted to her church,
14her family, and the Chicago Cubs; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Madeline Springer was preceded in death by her
16husband, Carl; her parents; and her brother, Frank Parola; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Madeline Springer is survived by her sons, Greg
18(Junice) and Denny (Donna) Springer; her grandchildren, Gabe
19Springer, Jake (Jessi) Springer, Geoff (Nancy) Springer,
20Allison (Nick) Schey, and Job (Lali) Springer; her

1great-grandchildren, Brockton, Bryce, Dominic, Sophia,
2Matilda, and Bruno Springer and Maddalena Schey; and her
3sister, Emma Vlasich; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Madeline M. Springer and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Madeline Springer as an expression
11of our deepest sympathy.
