SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of USAF Master Sergeant Denis A. Rubingh, who was born on June 10, 1932 and passed away on February 28, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Rubingh proudly served his country for 23 years, including one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam; and

WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Rubingh was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys; his father, Harold; his sister, Georgiana; and his brother, Donald; and

WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Rubingh is survived by his wife of 32 years, Uraina; his brothers, Russell and Larry; his sister, Darlene; his children, Connie, Matheu, Tammy, Albert, Jerry, Rochelle, Darci, John, Mark, and Roy; 29 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of USAF Master Sergeant Denis A. Rubingh and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Master Sergeant Rubingh as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
