SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Elizabeth A. "Betty" Beyer of Lindenhurst, who passed away on November 17, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Betty Beyer was born in Waukegan on May 8, 1926 and lived most of her life in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Betty Beyer was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Ray; her sons, Jerome and Joseph; and her granddaughter, Jennifer; and

WHEREAS, Betty Beyer is survived by her children, John (Peg) Beyer, Jim (Charlotte) Beyer, Linda Belski, Mike (Tricia) Beyer, Judy Beyer, and Mary Beth (Lovat) Veitch; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sr. Margot Schueneman; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Elizabeth A. "Betty" Beyer and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Betty Beyer as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
