HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The citizens of Illinois are continually taxed more and more each year; and

WHEREAS, These taxes make Illinois inhospitable to both citizens and businesses alike; and

WHEREAS, The internet has become a necessity for students, schools, businesses, and personal use; and

WHEREAS, Internet service providers already demand exorbitant rates; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we are opposed to the implementation of any sales tax on internet usage in 2019 and beyond; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be delivered to each member of the Illinois General Assembly.
