AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1316 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1316, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, on page 3, by replacing lines 3 through 9 with "that 
5student's parent or guardian. If the report pertains to a 
6threat of firearm violence made by a student, the principal or 
7the principal's designee shall attempt to notify that 
8student's parent or guardian as soon as possible. The 
9principal or principal's designee shall further attempt to 
10contact the student's parent or guardian so that the parent or 
11guardian may ensure that the student does not have access to a 
12firearm. Any principal or his or her designee acting in good"; 
13and
 
14by replacing line 23 on page 6 through line 3 on page 7 with
