Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
210 ILCS 85/1
Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 2105/2105-165

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that immediately after a licensed health care worker has been charged with (instead of after an Illinois State's Attorney files criminal charges alleging that a licensed health care worker committed) any offense that results in a certain specific sentence, then the prosecuting attorney (instead of a State's Attorney) shall provide notice to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation of the health care worker's information and a copy of the charges. Effective immediately.
