Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Deletes reference to:
625 ILCS 5/1-100
Adds reference to:
625 ILCS 5/11-605.1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Creates separate offenses for exceeding the speed limit in a construction or maintenance zone when workers are present and exceeding the speed limit in a construction or maintenance zone when workers are not present. Limits the provision on suspending a person's driver's license for multiple violations of the speed limit for construction zones to violations that occurred while workers were present.
