Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Sports Wagering Act. Provides that the Illinois Gaming Board shall require an online sports wagering licensee to, after every 10 wagers made online by an individual, display a pop-up message directing that individual to websites on gambling addiction help.
Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Changes a reference from "online sports wagering licensee" to "licensed online sports wagering operator".
Senate Floor Amendment No. 2 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Provides that the Illinois Gaming Board shall require a licensed online sports wagering operator to, at least once every hour, display a message advising the individual of the time elapsed since logging on, advising the individual of the amount of money wagered since logging on, and including hyperlinks to websites and telephone numbers that offer gambling addiction assistance.
