Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the General Assembly Staff Assistants Act and the General Assembly Operations Act. Restricts the partisan political duties that may be assigned to General Assembly staff and employees. Restricts awarding compensatory time or additional compensation or benefits (including bonuses) with respect to partisan political activities. Imposes criminal and civil penalties for violation. The provisions are declared to be severable. Effective immediately.
