Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Chicago School District Article of the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the application of the Article and definitions.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
105 ILCS 5/34-1
Adds reference to:
105 ILCS 5/21B-20

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Educator Licensure Article of the School Code. Removes the requirement that an applicant pass a test of basic skills in order to be issued a career and technical educator endorsement on an Educator License with Stipulations. Provides, instead, that a career and technical educator endorsement on an Educator License with Stipulations may be renewed if an individual passes a test of basic skills.
