Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
625 ILCS 5/1-100
Adds reference to:
625 ILCS 5/3-699 new

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Creates the Diabetes Awareness special license plate. Provides that the fee for original issuance shall be $40, $25 of which shall be deposited into the Diabetes Research Checkoff Fund and $15 of which shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that the renewal fee shall be $27, $25 of which shall be deposited into the Diabetes Research Checkoff Fund and $2 of which shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund.
