Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Nuclear Facility Safety Act. Makes a technical change in a Section on legislative findings.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
420 ILCS 10/3from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 4353
Adds reference to:
410 ILCS 82/45

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act. Provides that violations of the Section concerning the posting of signs and removal of ashtrays are subject to the penalty provisions of the Act. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Adds reference to:
410 ILCS 82/35

Further amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act. With regard to the list of areas that are exempted from the provisions of the Act, adds a convention hall of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center where a meeting or trade show for manufacturers and suppliers of tobacco and tobacco products and accessories is being held, during the time the meeting or trade show is occurring, if specified conditions are met. Provides that the exemption is inoperative on and after October 1, 2015.
