Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act. Provides that each December 15 the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency shall post on its website: (i) the mailing address of each collection site at which collectors collected covered electronic device (CEDs) and eligible electronic devices (EEDs) during the program year and (ii) the amount in pounds of total CEDs and total EEDs collected at the collection site during the program year. Provides that manufacturers of specified electronic devices shall submit to the Agency a report that contains the total weight of computers, the total weight of computer monitors, the total weight of printers, facsimile machines, and scanners, the total weight of televisions, the total weight of the remaining CEDs, and the total weight of EEDs recycled or processed for reuse. Provides that, by January 31 of each program year, collectors must submit to the Agency a report that contains the total weight of computers, the total weight of computer monitors, the total weight of printers, facsimile machines, and scanners, the total weight of televisions, the total weight of the remaining CEDs collected, and the total weight of EEDs collected or received for each manufacturer during the previous program year. Effective immediately.
